Please note this is a POM ART TUTORIAL ONLY. You will not receive a finished piece of pom art. You will receive a downloadable PDF with general information (in English) about the project and a private link to a video tutorial that provides verbal instructions (in English) so you can make your own pom art.
Pom art is perfect for making:
Social media photo props • Stand-alone, whimsical art pieces
Pom art is intended for artistic purposes, not to make wearable poms to top off hats or any other project that involves a lot of movement. Because yarn is pliable by nature, the design created within the pom will not maintain its shape well with shaking or motion.
Skill Level: Intermediate (This tutorial is designed for makers who are comfortable with using a pom maker and making yarn poms)
Materials needed:
Yarn in five or more colors (For my sample I used a mix of odds and ends of DK, worsted and super bulky—yardage will vary depending on what yarn you use)
Pom-pom maker
Scissors (heavy-duty, super-sharp shears work best to cut through the yarn)
Tapestry Needle
Tweezers
