Please note this is a KNITTING PATTERN ONLY with an intermediate skill level. You will not receive a finished hat. You will receive a downloadable PDF file (in English) that provides some written instructions, a chart for the main body of the hat and a link to a video technique tutorial so you can knit one yourself for an average adult head.

I love the beauty of fresh flowers, my friends, and I designed this hat as a way to keep them with you whenever you wear it. The silhouettes of the flowers sit just above the brim to showcase your gorgeous, variegated yarn as you knit your way toward the crown. With a slightly slouchy fit, this hat is lightweight yet warm—a perfect everyday hat going into fall or spring. You can just change up the background color to reflect the season!

Materials Needed:

Worsted/size 4 yarn in two contrasting colors

US 7 (4.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needles, or size needed to meet gauge

US 9 (5.5 mm) 16” (40 cm) circular knitting needles, or size needed to meet gauge

US 9 (5.5 mm) double-pointed needles (dpns) or US 9 (5.5 mm) circular knitting needles with a longer cord for Magic Loop method, or size needed to meet gauge

Tapestry needle

Feel free to sell finished hats in small quantities that are made using this pattern, but please give credit to flynnknit for the design. Please do not share, distribute or sell any part of the pattern itself. Please tag @flynnknit and use #blossom and #flynnknit on social media with any photos of your work created with this pattern. I’d love to see your progress photos and finished hats! I appreciate your support sooooo much!
