Please note this is a POM ART TUTORIAL ONLY. You will not receive a finished piece of pom art nor any of the finished hats shown in the listing photos. You will receive a downloadable PDF with general information about pom art and a private link to a video tutorial that provides verbal instructions (in English) so you can make your own pom art.
Pom art is perfect for making:
Photo props for social media • Pom wreaths • Stand-alone, whimsical art pieces
Pom art is intended for artistic purposes, not to make wearable poms to top off hats. Because yarn is a moveable fiber, the designs created within the pom will not maintain their shape with constant shaking or motion.
Materials needed:
Yarn in two or more contrasting colors (I prefer using super bulky or bulky)
Pom-pom maker (I recommend the extra-large size by Clover)
Scissors (heavy-duty, super sharp shears work best to cut through the yarn)
Tapestry Needle
Tweezers (optional)
Please tag @flynnknit and use #piechartpomart and #flynnknit on social media with any photos of poms created with this tutorial. Sharing, distributing and/or selling any part of this tutorial is strictly prohibited. I appreciate your support sooooo much!
The patterns shown in the photos that feature my Scraptacular Beanie (super bulky weight yarn) and Scraptacular Lite Beanie (bulky weight yarn) are available for purchase separately on flynnknit.com, Etsy and Ravelry.
