Please note this is a KNITTING PATTERN ONLY. You will not receive a finished sweater. You will receive a downloadable PDF file (in English) that provides written instructions and some links to helpful video tutorials of techniques so you can knit this sweater yourself.

I designed 1974 to celebrate all things retro while still serving as that timeless piece in your wardrobe with a simple silhouette and classic stripes. The colors I chose to work with—brown, yellow, orange and red—give me alllll the vintage vibes and have been some of my favorites for as long as I can remember. But you might be more of a pink person or go gaga for greens. Do your thing! Let this pattern serve as a blank slate for your perfect palette. Maybe you’ll discover the color combo you pick screams 1984, 1994 or even 2004—you really can’t go wrong with whatever you decide!
